Consents
Consents are the permission that a customer grants Quo Money to access their bank data via Open Banking.
Consents last for 90 days after which they expire. When a consent expires, Quo Money will no longer be able to access your bank data.
When do I give consent?
When you add a bank account to Quo Money, you will be asked to confirm that you give consent for Quo Money to access your data. This is requested on the following screen:
The boxes in Yellow (the first three) describe the data that Quo Money can access:
- Account and Sort Code number
- This information is used to identify each account.
- Standing orders and Direct Debits
- This information is used to create budgets and the forecast.
- Account Transactions
- This information is used to create budgets and the forecast.
The last box highlighted in Green shows that 12 months of history will be accessed and that permission is being granted for the next 90 days.
Viewing Consents
At any time you can view the consents that you have granted Quo Money.
To view the consents you have granted to Quo Money follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the Summary Screen
2. Click the Settings Icon
3. Click Bank Access
4. You can now see all of you consents
Deleting Consent
If you no longer want to track an account in Quo Money, you can easily remove the account.
- Navigate to the consent page using the steps outlined above in "Viewing Consents".
- Click the Delete Access link.
- Read the information presented and click continue.
You have now withdrawn the consent you granted to Quo Money, and Quo Money will no longer have permission to access your banking data.
